WOOZE

Formed in 2017, British/Korean duo WOOZE (named after the Korean word for “space”) emerged from Brixton’s Muddy Yard artist collective. Known for their distinct visuals and avant-garde pop, they combine Bowie-like eccentricity with psychotropic instrumentation, blending influences from traditional Korean music through to ABBA and Led Zeppelin. A trio of EPs firmly established them as one of the UK’s most entertaining and innovative bands, enthralling with a borderless and distinctive sound that is uniquely theirs. WOOZE have been consistently championed by Spotify, Apple Music, NME, BBC Radio 1’s Jack Saunders, KEXP, 6 Music (Lauren Laverne, Guy Garvey), have toured with Metronomy and headlined shows across the UK and South Korea. WOOZE release their self-titled debut album in February 2025.
