Charlie Bennett

Charlie Bennett, an indie-pop artist from Birmingham, draws inspiration from Dayglow, Beabadoobee, and Oscar Lang. He started releasing music in 2020, learning to produce from his bedroom during lockdown. Since then, Charlie has built a loyal fanbase of 500,000 followers, achieved millions of streams with his relatable TikTok and Instagram reels and supported Will Joseph Cook on his 2023 UK tour. His debut EP, ‘Duvet Days’ (2022), received considerable support from Spotify as well as airplay on BBC Introducing and 6 Music. Charlie’s new EP, ‘Sweetie’ (2024), marks an evolution in his approach, calling on the services of producer Jack Hardman to help produce an eclectic collection of songs with a drive, energy and joy that has inspired continued coverage from key tastemakers including Apple Music, John Kennedy at Radio X and KCRW.
