Alex Apolline is a singer-songwriter from a small town near Glasgow, Scotland. She began her performing career at a young age in theatre and later, via a brief segway as a medical student, channelled that love into music alongside her passion for songwriting. Capturing the experiences of her own life and of those around her, Alex’s vivid narratives and swirling arrangements are a window into her world and her unique perspective on it.
Early demos landed Alex Apolline a place on an artist development programme in partnership with Apple, where she was mentored by Nile Rodgers and Fraser T Smith (Adele, Stormzy, James Morrison, Tinchy Stryder). In March 2023, Alex released her debut single, ‘inevitable’ which has since been streamed over 300,000 times and won the acclaim of tastemakers from BBC Radio Scotland and Reprezent Radio.
Alex releases her debut EP, ‘Tales Of An Eldest Daughter’, in 2025.
